Francesca Bertazzo Hart lived in NYC before establishing in Italy. She
studied at Manhattan School of Music and in the last four years after paying
her dues in a lot of jazz clubs working with a lot of musicians she finally
got to perform in the USA with Antonio Hart, Benny Green, Lonnie Plaxico and
Mark Turner. She uses her voice just like an instrument, singing agile and
effective scat solos in the tradition of the vocalese jazz style.
Ettore Martin is equally active as a saxophone player and as a big band
arranger and director.
He writes scores for small groups and ochestras and composes beautiful
tunes: he won the Prix Musique en Ligne 2002 with his composition Roxy.
His tenor saxophone sounds rich and mellow, continuously exploring new
musical grounds with his wide knowledge of the jazz idiom.
Alberto Marsico is the organist of choice for many throughout Europe, and he
performed with jazz legends such as Jimmy Witherspoon and Kenny Burrell.
He loves to range between jazz standards, soul ballads, blues, pop songs,
funky grooves and gospel music, and his trademark is the strong and agile
bass lines created by his left hand. A real one man band.
Enzo Carpentieri backed a lot of great jazz players in his long careers
Steve Grossman, Lee Konitz, Cameron Brown, Sal Nistico and Art Farmer are
only a few of the musicians he had the honour to perform with.
His drumming is creative and solid at the same time, giving to any soloist
the chance to express his creativity at his best.
Silver Friends explore his songs with a really personal musical approach
keeping the feeling of freedom and joy Horace Silver put into his music.
